- Andrew Coope Review added: 2018.07.29★ ★ ★ ★ ★As complete novices we started looking for our first caravan in March 2016. We did plenty of research and deciding on the layout we wanted. We visited another dealer and had quite a poor experience so decided to try Lowe and Rhodes. Steve and Paul could not have been more accommodating. As the model we wanted (a new Sprite Major 6TD) was not on site Paul made sure we saw a van with the same layout and one of the same brand so we could appreciate what we were getting. We were given plenty of time to explore the vans alone with no sales pressure. Once we decided what we wanted the ordering process was painless and the price was very competitive. The worst thing after ordering was the wait for the van but that was down to Swift not L&R and Paul was quite clear about the expected timescales.
Upon collection I was given a detailed rundown of the van and how everything worked. I was also given a walk through of the paperwork and warranty arrangements. Another excellent experience.
After running the van for a few months and having read a few forums about known issues with Sprite, I produced a snagging list and reported these issues to Lowe and Rhodes. All of the issues were manufacturer related. None of them cause by the dealer but regardless L&R could not have been more helpful. We arranged for the van to go in and not only did they fix everything on my snagging list but they also fixed some issues I hadn't even noticed. They also worked around when we wanted to use the van. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service.
As a result of the excellent service received I now always talk to L&R when I'm after new kit as I want to give them my business ahead of anyone else and they are always competitive.
I rarely submit on line reviews but I'm so pleased with the service it's worth talking the time to write this. I couldn't be happier with the service I have had to date and would highly recommend Lowe and Rhodes.
